Making streets feel more welcoming and inclusive can support the independence of vulnerable (and growing) groups, helping increase their social interaction and community engagement.

Families, young people, older people, disabled people and people of all incomes should be able to get about easily, enjoy a good quality of life, and have a city of which they are proud and in which they feel safe.
